Chilton County Schools: 1,000 summer feeding tickets claimed in 45 minutes.
Meals do not happen by accident. They happen because dedicated school nutrition teams see a need, step up, and keep adapting for their community.
During one summer week, TicketHarmony® helped power registrations representing more than 226,000 meals for children and families through districts participating in USDA summer feeding programs.
One of those incredible teams is Chilton County Schools. When Chilton County opened registration for its summer bulk feeding program, 1,000 tickets were claimed in only 45 minutes. The district responded by doubling the next offering to 2,000 tickets, and families responded just as quickly.
- High-demand registrations and rapid sellouts
- Text and email reminders sent directly to families
- Organized distribution information for smoother pickup days
- Accurate, audit-ready reporting for school nutrition teams
Bridgette Cooedy and the Chilton County Child Nutrition Program team are a powerful example of the people behind these numbers: recognizing the need, adapting quickly, and doing whatever it takes to care for their community.
Chilton County Schools was also featured by WBRC in local news coverage highlighting how the district is stepping up to fight summer food insecurity.
